Process

Sang Architects combines decades of architectural expertise with sustainability in the heart of everything we undertake.

The Design Team is lead by the principal, that will be at the start of the project and see it through to completion. Every project starts with fresh thinking, leading to a solution that is tailor-made for both the client and the site.

As a Registered Architect, Darryl Sang is one of the few Auckland architects who is also a qualified engineer and a Certified Passive House Designer. These credentials, along with his New Zealand and overseas experience, put him in a unique position to guide you with your sustainable building project.

Our experience will make the design process easier. With expertise in architecture and the technical aspects of construction, as well as a thorough understanding of the Council consent process, we can ensure any issues are identified and resolved.

As part of our commitment to build high performing and Passive Houses, we have certified Passive House Designers on staff. We also hold open homes during the construction period for students, home owners, architects, trades people, developers. This has lead to meeting many incredible people for sharing of ideas and solutions.

If you are not familiar with the building process, we can explain what's happening every step of the way. In the meantime, you can take a look at the simple-to-follow diagrams below 9 key stages for a great build. Your project will have its own unique requirements, which we can discuss during our first meeting with you.
