Principal Architect - Darryl Sang

The Hansells name has been part of New Zealand for over 80 years. Hansells is known for their baking products and Aunt Betty’s brand. Sang Architects designed a new Head Office extension adjoining their existing warehouse and factory.

The ground floor provided space for a café and kitchen for 50 staff and offices for the factory and warehousing management. There are executive offices and meeting rooms on the first level. The top floor has facilities for a test kitchen and more offices.

A glass art work by Holly Sanford adorns the central façade.

The building was officially opened by the Prime Minister of New Zealand, John Key.
